Even in first class now people come in hoodies and flip-flops and bad manners. I often wonder how they even get into first class, whether they're upgraded or have accumulated free miles. Its kind of unfair when we pay full price and have to sit with others that belong on the Greyhound bus instead

The last (AND I DO MEAN THE LAST) time I flew (2017) it was to Phoenix and someone's miserable little rodent screamed the ENTIRE flight! As we were taxiing to the terminal the spawns sperm donor said, “some people’s kids, huh? huh, huh, huh, huh.” If not for facing arrest, most everyone on the plane would have beat the snot out of him.

I've been a FA for 39 years, and still wear the same size 4 uniform I started in. Passengers wore suits, ties and cuff links in 1985. Women looked glamourous. No one was rude. Now, most men show up dressed like little boys, in shorts and baseball caps. Young ladies wear leggings en masse, or worse, what looks like their pyjamas. And passengers were a LOT thinner then. Why do so 75% forget to say, "Please" when asking for their beverages/meals? I sail on Queen Elizabeth and QM2 every chance I get, and I thank Cunard for continuing the tradition of what travelling in style once looked like.

Absolutely LOVED the video!! Fantastic that you included all that old stock footage!. Priceless!.. even when i flew Delta on my senior class trip in 1988( from Detroit to Los Angeles) there were still actual plastic trays, bowls cups and real silverware!, and the meal was a main course, with two sides roll and butter and a "glass" which was a round plastic cup with a stemmed foot. So glad i got to experience that!. Needless to say, i was SORELY disappointed after that!. Lol .. But a small glimpse of the glory that was. Definitely subbed!! 🛫 Ready for my next trip, Captain!!. ❤

Over 1000 cancer causing obesity causing ingredients are in our food. Processed food became a staple because moms decided that slaving away for a boss was better than raising their own children.

A man could work 1 job and support his wife and kids, drive a nice car, have a nice house. In 1962 the powers that be basically attacked the family , took prayer out of schools, created women's lib to make the husband and wife have to work and pay taxes. It was literally designed to break apart the family. Tavistock used music to drastically change society in a decade. Went from short haircuts and suits to long hair men, hippies and drugs. All by design

The British aero-industry had this hilariously stupid and arrogant idea that flying should be an exclusive and luxorious experience for passengers. Thankfully they were punished for their ridiculous arrogance. They all went bankrupt - punished and outcompeted by the Americans and the French who paid more respect to the needs of the passengers who just wanted to go from A to B, fast and cheap.

A retired airline mechanic that I knew told me that back in the smoking period, they had to clean the outflow valves frequently. These are the openings in the fuselage that have small doors that open and close electrically in order to maintain a constant 8.6 psi differential in the cabin at altitude. Air is compressed by the engines and "bled" off, run through air conditioners, and then pumped into the cabin to create the pressurization. Due to smoking, the outflow valves in time would become coated with tar, which looked like animal waste, smelled worse, and literally had to be scraped off with a putty knife. Pressurization problems were one of the main reasons that flights were delayed back then. Flying back then? No thanx!
